This featured project took California Dairy Farms to the next level in efficiency and throughput by converting from a double parallel parlor to a new 90-stall rotary. The remodel paired high-capacity milking with integrated herd management and in-line monitoring to improve cow flow, labor efficiency, and milk quality.
The transition from a double parallel to a rotary has delivered smoother cow and employee flow, faster milking, and greater consistency in daily routines. Within the first week of startup, the new parlor was successfully milking the herd three times per day, positioning CDF for long-term performance and future technology upgrades.
